The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They don’t make judgments, or offer advice. Instead, the Samaritans believe in the value of having time and space to explore difficult feelings. They also believe that being listened to in confidence, and accepted without prejudice, can alleviate despair and suicidal feelings.
