WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan)

Service Description

WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) is a tool to help you to manage your own mental health and wellness as best you can. It was developed by people who wanted to find a way to overcome their own mental health challenges and to live meaningful and full lives. It assumes that you are the expert on yourself and that you are the best judge of what helps you.

Participants will think about and discuss:

  1. The key recovery concepts – Hope, Personal Responsibility, Education, Self-Advocacy (Being heard) and Support
  2. Wellness Tools
  3. Daily maintenance plan – what we can do every day to stay well triggers
  4. Early warning signs that we are becoming unwell and what we can do about this
  5. Signs that things are falling apart and what we can do about it
  6. Developing a crisis plan/advance directive
  7. Post crisis planning
