The One2One project is funded by the European Social fund and consists of a team of 8 dedicated advisors. It forms part of West Lothian Council’s Advice Shop.
The project offers intensive, goal-orientated support to people on a one-to-one basis at times when they are struggling to cope alone, or are finding it difficult to engage with services effectively.
The project aims to help people find positive ways to achieve set goals, stabilise their situation and empower them to engage with services more effectively.
Intended Client Groups:
- Black and Minority Ethnic
- Drug and Alcohol Users
- Homeless People
- Lesbian Gay Bisexual & Transgender
- Older People
- People Experiencing Mental Health Difficulties
- Survivors of Abuse
- Young People
- Workless household, lone parents and people on a low income
Applicants for this service should also meet this condition:
Must have enduring mental health difficulties and struggle to engage with mainstream services.
Required to have other barriers such as criminal convictions, homelessness, addictions, care experience, physical disability.
People aged 16 years old and older.
This service accepts direct self referrals.
Referrals are encouraged from all involved professionals.
