Peer Support and Befriending

Health in Mind’s West Lothian peer support and befriending service helps to create social networks to reduce loneliness and isolation and offers peer support groups too.

Service Description

  • increased ability to self-manage

Support and Development Workers recruit, train and support peers and volunteers as well as supporting those using the service. They also enable and support peer groups in the wider community.
