Information is available in the resource centre where there are lots of materials about alcohol and drug use. For adults, there is a confidential counselling service available. Support for adults can also involve helping people though rehab, and work with offenders, including prison thorough-care.
Applicants for this service should also meet this condition:
Anyone in West Lothian who is affected by their own or someone elses’ alcohol or drug use.
This service accepts direct self referrals.

West Lothian Drug and Alcohol Service (WLDAS) is a third sector organisation that was set up in 1985 to provide high quality, evidence-based, accessible services aimed at reducing the harm caused by drugs, alcohol and tobacco to West Lothian residents and communities. WLDAS aims to provide easily accessible, confidential and non-discriminatory services to reduce substance misuse related harm to individuals, families and the community of West Lothian.
